Bages, Narbonne
27th November 2010
The latest outing was to Bages a very picturesque Languedoc circulade fishing village which is located just outside Narbonne. The road between between Bages and Peyriac de Mer runs right across the local Etangs which are full of various types of wild birds including Flamingos, Cormorants, Egrets, Coots & White Storks. It's almost like a mini Camargue and less than an hour from where we live, so we will definitely be going back at some point. Hopefully it will be a bit warmer next time though! It's unusually cold in the Languedoc at the moment for the time of year. Images from the trip can be found across the Galleries.
